Nepal, officially the Federal Democratic Republic of Nepal, is a landlocked country in South Asia. It is mainly situated in the Himalayas, but also includes parts of the Indo-Gangetic Plain.
Itinerary
Your arrival in “Kathmandu”, the capital city of Nepal will be followed by your check-in into a hotel. Post this, get freshened up, relax for a couple hours and visit “Pashupatinath Temple” - the one of the most important religious sites in Asia for devotees of Shiva, where you will experience majestic collection of temples, ashrams, images, inscriptions and dread-locked holy men who’ve come to pay their homages to the Lord Shiva. You may even get to witness a Hindu funeral along the river.
On the second day, enjoy an early morning breakfast at Kathmandu. Now Proceed to discover the fine arts capital of Nepal “Patan”. Upon reaching Patan, set eyes on the “Patan Durbar Square” which is not only one of the three Durbar Squares in the Kathmandu Valley but its attractions like ancient royal palace, museum, temples, Newa architecture and more surely mesmerize you with all their beauty and appeal.
If you are not in the mood of sightseeing tour, you can explore the local market to pick some wood carvings or silver jewellery from one of the many shops lining the streets and back streets.
After breakfast, the checkout process ends. Team representative will escort you to the international airport, three hours prior to your flight.
